RIGI (Large Investment Incentive Regime)
Argentina's regime under Law 27,742 granting tax, customs and FX benefits and 30-year stability to large investments.
The RIGI was created by Law 27,742 (Title VII) for large investment projects: the floor is USD 200 million, and Decree 749/2024 sets higher minimums for some subsectors, including oil and gas. It grants, among other things, a 25% income tax rate, customs and FX benefits, and 30-year tax, customs and FX stability.
Neuquén joined through Provincial Law 3491. As of 09/13/2026 the official RIGI map listed three approved projects with a Neuquén component: San Matías Pipeline, Rincón de Aranda (Pampa Energía) and the Mega expansion.
Why it matters to landowners and companies
RIGI gives no benefit to land itself, but its projects move land: routes, plants, camps.
How it shows on the map
Each parcel card shows the distance to the nearest Neuquén RIGI project. Open the map.
