VMOS (Vaca Muerta Oil Sur)
The roughly 437 km oil pipeline from Allen to Punta Colorada (Río Negro) to export Vaca Muerta crude through the Atlantic.
VMOS stands for Vaca Muerta Oil Sur, the company and project building an oil pipeline of about 437 km from Allen to Punta Colorada on the Río Negro coast, with a tanker loading terminal. Initial shareholders were YPF, Vista, Pampa Energía and Pan American Energy; other producers joined later.
The project was filed under the RIGI. According to trade press, in August 2026 the pipe completed its 437 km and work focused on the Punta Colorada terminal.
